The idea of Prayag.ai was born in early 2025 — during a time when millions
gathered for the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj, a place of deep spiritual
and intellectual heritage.
Time immemorial, long before the internet or modern media, Kumbhs were the original
platform for knowledge sharing. Philosophers, scientists, poets, kings, and
seekers would journey from every corner of the World to meet, to debate, to learn, and to
return home enriched. This particular Kumbh was special — it aligned with a rare cosmic
configuration last seen 144 years ago.
Prayag is not just a place. In Sanskrit, it means confluence.
It’s in that spirit of confluence that we chose our name — a reminder that
great innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when diverse minds come together
with a shared purpose.
